Maytree welcomed Dr. Kofi Hope, Executive Director of CEE Centre for Young Black Professionals, drawing on his work at CEE, his time as a student activist, and his graduate studies on Canadian non-profits in Africa to provide his views on how to be a values-based leader. We explored how values are critical to success in social change work.

With a feminist agenda, my creative works captured the imaginations of readers and viewers as I travelled pursuing an artistic career promoting body positivity, natural beauty and the sovereignty of women's bodies through art and photography. I am no longer employed in those fields of work. Having spent almost a decade building my profile in the cultural sector as a public figure, I took some personal time off while handling family obligations. Using the sum of my experience I am now devoted full-time to my writings, social activism, and politics building upon a new definition of 'modern humanism' as seen through the lens of feminism.
