Labor Day 2019
Andrew has always fought for protections for workers, including independent workers. In Parliament, he campaigned for and won labour protections for unpaid interns. In 2016, he co-founded and led the Urban Worker Project to raise the voices and the issues of self-employed, freelance and contract workers. Andrew wants to see changes to our tax system so that big corporations finally pay their fair share and he’s determined to ensure that the voices of hard working Torontonians are heard loud and clear in Ottawa.

With a feminist agenda, my creative works captured the imaginations of readers and viewers as I travelled pursuing an artistic career promoting body positivity, natural beauty and the sovereignty of women's bodies through art and photography. I am no longer employed in those fields of work. Having spent almost a decade building my profile in the cultural sector as a public figure, I took some personal time off while handling family obligations. Using the sum of my experience I am now devoted full-time to my writings, social activism, and politics building upon a new definition of 'modern humanism' as seen through the lens of feminism.
